The uproar against the Jewish community took place in 1391. On that date, the house that stood on this site was owned by Bonjuà Gracià, member of the important Hen family and secretary of the Jewish community (years 1376-77 and 1383). This building was rebuilt in the early 19th century. The house was described at the cadastre of 1716, it consisted of a ground floor and two floors above. Part of the top floor was a porch.
In the narrow street, Sant Domènec del Call, one of the most charming streets of the Gothic Quarter, we find this warm and welcoming place constantly evolving and tastefully decorated by its owners (with artistic background) with antique objects, centenarian candles and soft lights, restored books, paintings, furniture … all in the Alcoba emanates sensitivity and grace, it takes you home.
